BIOGRAPHY
Ptarmigan Emery is a Registered Nurse and Legal Nurse Consultant with 20+ years of experience in healthcare. She specializes in hospice, palliative, oncology, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury, with clinical roles at Brighton Hospice, Craig Hospital, Optum Hospice, Compassus Hospice, Porter Hospital, Bristol Hospice, and The Denver Hospice. She also has worked for attorney, Franklin D. Azar. Ptarmigan is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN) and has held a Certification as a Rehabilitation Nurse (CRRN). Her education includes a BS in Nursing from Platt College here in Denver, and a dual degree MBA/MSN from the University of Pheonix.
Her background as a clinical Instructor and her expertise in complex medical cases make her a valuable resource for attorneys and healthcare providers navigating medical-legal matters. Before nursing, Ptarmigan worked in finance, real estate, and holds a BA degree in East Asian Studies and Japanese from The George Washington University.
Outside of work, she enjoys skiing, hiking, soccer, the Denver Summit FC, and exploring the Colorado outdoors with her dog, Tenna.
